OUR PASTOR

Adam Neil and his wife, Kiesha, have served as pastors of The Door Church since the summer of 2015. Together with their children, Callie, Kai, and Luka, they have spent the past decade building a church they have deep roots in and a genuine love for.

For Adam and Kiesha, Utah is more than where they pastor—it’s home. Adam’s father, Bill Neil, pastored this same church when Adam was a teenager, and Kiesha gave her life to Jesus here as a young woman. Long before they ever imagined leading the church themselves, The Door Church had already played an important part in both of their lives.

Adam began his pastoral ministry as a youth pastor in Hesperia, California, where he served for six years. He later became the senior pastor of a church in Adelanto, California, where he and Kiesha were blessed to see the congregation grow and expand. After a little over two years there, God opened the door for them to return to Utah and pastor the church that had meant so much to their family.

Since returning, Adam and Kiesha have continued to invest in the church with a passion for preaching the gospel, making disciples, and seeing lives changed through Jesus Christ. In 2023, the church purchased a building of its own—a milestone that came with both incredible blessing and significant challenges.

That season became part of the inspiration for Adam’s book, Divine Wilderness: Discovering God in Difficult Seasons, which explores how God works in the difficult and unexpected seasons of life. It is available on Amazon: https://a.co/d/gBMDtSe

Outside of ministry, Adam works as a bus operator for Utah Transit Authority. He still misses his Dodgers and Lakers, but he has grown to love Utah’s mountains and enjoys snowboarding, hiking, spending time with friends and family, and writing music. Some of his music is available on adamneil.bandcamp.com
